About the Author
: Heike Gypser received her degree in
pharmacy, writing her dissertation on the history of poten-
tizing machines. She lectures at the University of Marburg
on the history of homeopathic pharmaceutics. A few blocks
from her home, at the Glees Academy for Homeopathic Phy-
sicians, is one of the potentizing machines used by Boericke
& Tafel.
The Author wishes to thank Daniel Cook MD for his help
combining and editing her two lectures.
