Dr. Lisa Amerine and Dr. Molly Punzo Present at the 100th Congress of the Faculty of Homeopathy

The Faculty of Homeopathy (U.K.) recently hosted its 100th Congress in Edinburgh, Scotland, centered on the theme Homeopathy: Integrative Medicine for a Sustainable Future. Hundreds attended from across the globe.

During the opening session (22nd November 2024), the President of AIH, Dr. Lisa Amerine, delivered the inaugural William Kadleigh Memorial Lecture titled “Homeopathy: Past, Present, and Future.” In honor of Dr. Kadleigh, Dr. Amerine explored the foundation history of homeopathy by reflecting on important leaders and a case from the past.  She then moved to the present, how homeopathy is integrated into our current culture, again by reflecting on homeopathy’s leaders and demonstrating a short case.

During the weekend session, Dr. Punzo presented on integrating homeopathy into palliative and end-of-life care, making the case that such care provides much-needed relief and comfort for patients and their families and can reduce the use of powerful narcotics, anxiolytics, and antipsychotics.  Dr. Punzo is an advisor to the HOHM Foundation Homeopathy Help Now (HHN) Comfort Care program.
