Guidelines for Authors

The American Journal of Homeopathic Medicine (AJHM) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal specifically intended to meet the needs of physicians involved in the specialty of homeopathy. The editor invites original manuscripts, feature articles, research reports, ‘Homeopathic Grand Rounds’ case studies, abbreviated case reports for ‘Clinical Snapshots,’ seminar reports, and position papers that focus on homeopathy, as well as book reviews and letters to the editor.

The editor reserves the right to edit and rewrite all articles or letters. Authors will be notified concerning acceptance, recommended revisions, or rejection of their manuscripts no later than ten (10) weeks after the manuscript is received. At times, longer delays may be unavoidable. Once accepted for publication, notice of acceptance and the projected date of publication will be sent to the senior author, together with the edited manuscript if significant changes have been made to the manuscript. Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy of quotations, references, and data submitted

American Journal of Homeopathic Medicine Policy Statement for Authors

The American Journal of Homeopathic Medicine is the official medical scientific publication of the American Institute of Homeopathy (AIH).   Established in 1844, the AIH continues to the present as the oldest extant national medical professional association in the United States, representing currently, as Active Members, medical and osteopathic physicians and dentists and, as Associate Members, advance practice nurses and physician assistants, who use homeopathy in their practices.   It is the express policy of the Board of Trustees of the American Institute of Homeopathy that authors who submit papers for consideration for publication in the AJHM which contain clinical material dealing with the treatment of the sick must be duly licensed or otherwise legally engaged in the practice of homeopathic medicine at the location of their practice.
