Homeopathic treatment of Autism: a constitutional approach using characteristics and differential Materia Medica. The totality of symptoms of autism can provide a general homeopathic diagnosis of the more common remedies. The classification of autistic patients in three groups: hyperactive, underactive, and mixed forms is helpful for our treatment.
Bio: Alex Bekker, M.D., ABIHM is a GP physician practicing homeopathy in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area since 1999. He is currently serving on the Board of the American Institute of Homeopathy as the Second Vice President. He has been a speaker at the National Center for Homeopathy and the Texas Society of Homeopathy conferences, and he is an Adjunct Professor at UNTHSC Fort Worth.
Dr. Bekker graduated from UTHSC – San Antonio in 1996. His medical internship in Family Practice was at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital/UTMB Residency in Beaumont, Texas. He spent fifteen years working as a rural Emergency Department Physician in Texas.
He was introduced to homeopathy over thirty years ago and his teachers have been Alain Naude (translator of the Organon) and Andre Saine, ND
