Dear Colleagues,
This is my last message to you as President of the American Institute of Homeopathy. We are proud to report that for the last three years the AIH has featured three successful Annual Conferences— presented by Dr. André Saine, Dr. Farokh Master, and Professor George Vithoulkas’s International Academy of Classical Homeopathy. We have had a productive AIH Education Committee that has created an outstanding Grand Rounds presentation available to members and is currently working on further homeopathic educational materials. The AIH has also been instrumental in working with Americans For Homeopathic Choice in their discussions with the FDA; this includes several AIH Board members who met with FDA officials. While I am happy to have played some small role in much of this, I have been honored to watch what the great efforts of our talented colleagues have brought to fruition.
I would also like to warmly express what a great honor it has been to serve as President of this magnificent organization. I have had the privilege to work with outstanding individuals on the Board, people I have gotten to know better and admire even more than I had previously. The members of the AIH Board are incredibly dedicated to serving their patients and serving you, their sister and brother colleagues of the AIH, as well as the community at large, in the pursuit of reducing human suffering and enhancing people’s personal freedom to pursue a life less restricted by health concerns.
It has also been an honor to have met many of you in person, and many of you virtually—still a new experience. Your commitment to service inspires me and makes me a better homeopathic doctor and human being. I am also grateful for the opportunity to develop some deep friendships from being in this position. For our AIH Conference on November 13th, we are excited to be featuring Dr. Gyandas Wadhwani, MD (Hom), as our chosen speaker. (Please mark your calendars.) Dr. Wadhwani is a very experienced Hahnemannian homeopathic physician, a renowned researcher and well-regarded speaker, especially at many of the LMHI conferences. He was also the Former Chief Medical Officer (NFSG) (Homeopathy) of the Directorate of AYUSH, India. We are very much looking forward to his seminar on Case Presentations and a Philosophical Framework to Apply Time-Tested Hahnemannian Methodology for Superlative Clinical Results, with a special emphasis on COVID-19.
Now, on to the future … As this edition comes to press, we will have had our elections, which will change the face of our Board, and elected a new President, Dr. Alex Bekker. Subsequently, I am looking forward to continuing to work together with all the members of the Board in a different capacity.
Once again, I would like to express what an honor it has been to serve to serve as the AIH President, and I wish you all health, prosperity, joy, and deep satisfaction.
Wishing you all health and deep satisfaction,
Ron Dushkin, MD
President,
American Institute of Homeopathy
