A Message from AIH President Alex Bekker, MD

For me, AIH is my professional home — it is the one place where all that I bring to the practice of medicine is fully understood.   What I have enjoyed the most about being a member of AIH is simply the collegiality that I have developed with many members of this association.   Our online community as well as our annual conferences contribute to this sense of collegiality.   Our recent  seminar on “Predictive Homeopathy” (March 7-9, 2014) was a huge success — one member sent me a note saying “it was probably the most useful seminar I’ve been to in my career.” The Predictive Homeopathy approach of Dr. Prafull Vijayakar is becoming increasingly appreciated in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, and AIH was honored to introduce Dr. Vijayakar to the community of homeopaths in the U.S. Our Certificate Course in Predictive Homeopathy, which can be attended live in Newark, via live webinar or later via recorded webinar, is currently in progress and attendees continue to register — it’s not too late since all recorded webinars are available. The feedback has been outstanding.

AIH has been the voice of the homeopathic medical profession since 1844.   One of the ways in which our history is preserved is through our quarterly journal,   American Journal of Homeopathic Medicine.   A subscription to our journal (both print and electronic) is a benefit of   AIH membership, and we hope that you will read and contribute to our journal.

AIH also speaks for the homeopathic medical profession through our membership in various Integrative Medicine/CAM associations.  We recently joined the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine and we hope to begin teaching other licensed practitioners through that association.

The daily postings on our Facebook page provide much information on homeopathic research as well as more personal accounts regarding homeopathic medicine.  “Like” our page and follow what we do.

Our quarterly webinars, free to AIH members, offer a wonderful opportunity for our members to have small group discussions with leaders in the profession of homeopathic medicine.

We hope that you will join us as we promote the medical specialty of homeopathic medicine.   We believe that your membership will enhance our community as well as your professional life.
