About Dr. Sharma’s presentation:

This presentation will give an overview of psychiatric conditions listed within ICD-11 and DSM-5 from the perspective of homeopathic management. The focus will be on endogenous depression, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and body dysmorphia. Causation and pathophysiology will be discussed from an anthroposophical medicine and esoteric/spiritual perspective. Alongside an analysis of the vitalistic mode of action of keynote homeopathic medicines, healing and meditative techniques will be included. How to utilise biography or life-story analysis with the seven-year cycles will be explained as background to understanding these disorders. Participants will receive extensive notes and a copy of the PowerPoint slides for their own use.  Part of the talk will also aim to include neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, dementias, and motor neuron disease, with anthroposophical medicine perspectives of these neurological disorders and treatment strategies.
