Case Management of the COVID-19 Patient with Genuine Homeopathy – An update

“Dreamwork”

Presented by Dr. Filip Degroote, MD (Belgium)

June 7, 2018

Presented by Dr. Filip Degroote, MD (Belgium)

Topic: Dreamwork, special item (collective unconscious in dreams) and some explanation about the confirmation of the found remedy by the energetic examination.

The energetic examination is based on Weihe points which are related to the parasympathetic nervous system (Bourdiol) and frequently are also situated on acupuncture points. Both kinds of points can be found by TL (therapy localization) while applying kinesiology).

Bio: Dr. Filip Degroote is a classical homeopath, applying a homeopathic philosophy that is closely related to what S. Hahnemann described in his Organon and Chronic Diseases, and to the works of J. H. Allen and H.A. Roberts.

By applying the energetic examination during the last twenty five years, he developed a more personal philosophic approach concerning this matter that published in his book ‘Notes on Miasms, Heredity and Nosodes’ (first edition, 1994 second edition, 2010), where he makes a clear distinction between the individual energy and the ancestral energy.

“The Kolisko Validation Method”

Presented by Ross Rentea MD

May 4, 2018

Presented by Ross Rentea MD, Medical Director of the Paulina Medical Clinic And President of the Kolisko Institute for Anthroposophical Medicine.

Topic: This research project focuses on the demonstration of the influence of ultra-high diluted substances on biological substrates. The consequences are far reaching enabling not only a new method to determine the quality of a homeopathic product before it is released to consumers but also ultimately to determine which potencies are to be used for specific cases.

Bio: Ross Rentea MD, has been practicing with potentized remedies (homeopathic and anthroposophic) for over 40 years. After graduating from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine, and after his residency in NYC, he spent five years in Europe studying anthroposophical medicine at the Lukas Klinik in Switzerland, and the Klinik Oeschelbronn in Germany. Together with his wife he then started the Paulina Medical Clinic in Chicago in 1983.

He is a co-founder of the Illinois Homeopathic Medical Association. He is a former Board member of the American College for Anthroposophic Medicine, a member of the American College of Advancement in Medicine (ACAM) and member of the Anthroposophical Society. His additional activities include hundreds of lectures, training seminars, webinars and workshops to professional and lay groups. He has been an editor of the Journal for Anthroposophic Medicine, and has published articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. Recently he published, as principal author, the book Childhood Illnesses and Immunizations.

The Homeopathic Treatment of the Pneumonia Patient

Presented by Andre Saine, ND

April 9, 2018

Topic: The Homeopathic Treatment of the Pneumonia Patient

Four percent of Americans and 7% of the world population will die from pneumonia. An estimated 1.4 million children under the age of five years die every year from pneumonia -more than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined, and accounting for 18% of all deaths of children under five years old worldwide. This doesn’t need to be so, as even the most severe cases of pneumonia recover their health quickly and gently under homeopathic treatment.

It would only be in exceptional circumstances that a person with pneumonia would die under homeopathic treatment. In this 90-minute webinar, we will discuss how to approach the pneumonia patient, what symptoms to value, how to seek and administer the simillimum, how to assess the patient’s response to the prescribed remedy, what hygienic measures and natural approaches can be used to complement homeopathic treatment, and finally we will review the clinical outcomes from the perspective of evidence-based medicine of the homeopathic treatment of the patients with pneumonia.

The current state of education in homeopathy world wide and in the US

Presented by Alastair Gray

February 2, 2018

Topic: The current state of education in homeopathy world wide and in the US.

Recent reviews confirm that Complementary Medicine (CM) and Integrative Medicine (IM) continue to be characterized by sustained growth and professionalization. In parallel, CM education seems also to be characterized by substantial growth in many countries. But for all that expansion, what is really known about this specific arena of education? In this presentation, Alastair briefly shares the results of his PhD literature review, exploring the current empirical knowledge of education and CM, and presents some basic questions and consequences for the profession of homeopathy.

Why does this matter? For homeopathy to be a player in individual or public health care provision in the 21st century, either with other CM modalities or as a stand-alone discipline, to attract students and passionate practitioners to study in formal programs is an imperative. But where is the next generation of passionate professionals to come from? Homeopathy education is experiencing tough times in some parts of the world.

This talk explores the challenges and pressures and discusses if this is due to external opposition to homeopathy or if schools offering relevant content and are they attending to the needs and expectations of modern students? Are they teaching the actual skills, knowledge and attributes required to deliver Homeopathic Medicine in contemporary times? There are clear and unequivocal directions in education, especially related to the use of learning technologies and e-learning, but how are homeopathy colleges and education programs proactively dealing with this? How are schools to meet the challenges of attracting students (the need to design and packaging curriculum to today’s busy, non-traditional, part time students, often are saturated by email and who need to learn the skills of curating information). Some professions such as nutritional medicine are seemingly more within reach of potential students making decisions about their future, expensive decisions. They are working with marketing departments and designing curriculum that is modulated, packaged, and delivered in blended and online environments while not compromising quality, also retaining students, realizing that keeping existing students is as much a feature of a thriving profession and learning environment, that learners need to be engaged, and the material must be relevant.

In this presentation Alastair charts the trajectory of education in homeopathy from Hahnemann to the present and will focus on the current critical issues, standards, quality and accreditation.

Alastair Gray brings to the discussion:

  • 27 years of uninterrupted practice
