The Netherlands:The Treatment of Deep Trauma
Presented by Wiet van Helmond
November 2, 2017
A case of Buddleia with levels of healing: We do not always find the right remedy by following the breadcrumb trail of symptoms towards a remedy. Often the patient is also telling us what he needs or wishes or we need to observe a miasmatic pattern to come to what is needed to heal. Without diverging from the Hahnemannian path we sometimes come to beautiful prescriptions which can open a case wide up. In a severely traumatized patient a relatively unknown remedy comes up which fits the case in such a depth that I am amazed by what comes up next and the remedy that is presenting itself towards a new step in the healing journey of my patient.
Bio: Coming from a family where several natural ways of healing played a prominent role it wasn’t strange that from an early age I chose to study homeopathy. With almost limitless passion I started my education at the Academy of Natural ways of Healing in Hilversum to become one of the youngest homeopaths in the Netherlands. Already during my homeopathic training, I became fascinated by the many methods of practicing homeopathy as well as the different ways of approaching the similimum. So while I was still studying the basics, I was often following lectures by other homeopaths. In the past decade, I’ve mostly discovered that homeopathy isn’t an island. There is a large overlap with developmental psychology, both Jungian and Freudian psychology, Hellinger’s constellation work and several other therapeutic and non-therapeutic theories. It is this realization that makes me look at life and my profession (and therefore also my patients) from a wider angle. Not only have my growth perspectives changed immensely through this but also feel the quality of healing has matured and ripened. The great benefit with this broad spectrum of therapeutic approaches is that it is very individually adjustable. After all, there are few theories that work for 100% of the people. And this is where my strength lies: to take the most suitable method of using the tool that is homeopathy for each individual patient. Of course, this method has proven its success during the years as it is a true holistic method.

The Art of Individualization from the Kentian Perspective
Presented by Alex Bekker, M.D.
June 1, 2017
In this webinar we define what is health and what constitutes disease based on our concept of the vital force.
Homeopathic treatment is based on understanding the totality of characteristic symptoms. We will investigate and illustrate “characteristic symptoms” through quotations and cured cases from various reliable authors, e.g. Hahnemann, Kent, P. Schmidt, H. Farrington, Stearns, R. Gibson Miller, M. Tyler, E.B. Nash, Bidwell, et al.
We will also define the schema for “hierarchy of symptoms” and “value of symptoms” according to Kent, H. Farrington, and P. Schmidt. Understanding this schema leads to good case analysis and an effective way to use repertorization.
Bio: Alex Bekker, M.D. is a general practice physician who has been practicinghomeopathy since 1999. He has worked in rural Emergency Rooms for fifteen years. He studied homeopathy with Alain Naude, and Andre Saine.
Vaccines History and Vaccinosis from a Homeopathic Perspective
Presented by Dr. Janet Levatin

BIO: Dr. Janet Levatin graduated from George Washington University in 1982, and completed a pediatric internship and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. From 1986 to 2011 she ran her own holistic medical practice in Boston, MA, where she offered a variety of holistic treatment options for children and adults including homeopathy, herbs, and nutritional work. In 2011 she joined the Tenpenny Integrative Medical Center in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, where she continues to offer a variety of natural alternatives for children and adults including homeopathy, nutritional detox, nutrigenomics, and homeo-prophylaxis (an alternative to conventional vaccines) for those who wish to decline vaccines but feel a need for some type of protection from infections. She has spoken out about the toxicity of pharmaceutical, including vaccines, for many years.
