Dr. Edward Kondrot is a board-certified ophthalmologist with more than four decades of clinical experience dedicated to preserving and restoring vision. A graduate of the Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, and the Hahnemann Homeopathic School in Albany, California, he combines the rigor of conventional ophthalmology with a deep commitment to complementary and natural approaches to eye care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kondrot has been at the forefront of integrative ophthalmology, bridging traditional medical training with holistic therapies designed to support the body’s innate healing capacity. He is the author of seven books on the natural treatment of eye disease, providing patients and practitioners with practical, research-informed strategies to address conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, and chronic dry eye through nutrition, lifestyle modification, and integrative therapies.
In addition to his clinical and academic contributions, Dr. Kondrot is deeply committed to humanitarian service. He actively participates in medical missions, delivering free surgical and medical eye care to underserved populations in developing nations. Through these efforts, he has helped restore sight to countless individuals who would otherwise remain blind due to lack of access to care—transforming not only vision, but lives, families, and communities.
